Over Dimensional Trucking

Description

A load that exceeds the usual or legal size and/or weight limits for a truck to transport on a particular stretch of road, highway, or other transportation infrastructure, such as air freight or water freight, is referred to as an oversize load (or overweight load) in road transport. Also possible are load-per-axle restrictions. However, a load is deemed overweight if it exceeds the per-axle limits but not the overall weight limits. Construction equipment (cranes, front loaders, backhoes, etc.), pre-built homes, containers, and construction elements (bridge beams, generators, windmill propellers, rocket stages, and industrial equipment) are a few examples of oversize/overweight loads.
