A large refrigerated room or structure intended for the storage of goods in a setting with a temperature lower than the outside is known as a cool store or cold store. Fruit, vegetables, seafood, and meat are among the products that require refrigeration. Near shipping ports used for produce imports and exports are frequently found cold storage facilities.
